Can you believe that Easter is in five days? It feels like this year has both flown by and stood completely still. While we may be limited in what we can do to gather and celebrate right now, we can certainly still make it beautiful. I wanted to share a little tabletop inspiration, using Spring colors and flowers. You know that I love setting the table, so it made things feel a little more normal just to create something pretty!
First, let’s talk flowers. I’m obsessed with this vase* and it’s currently on sale! It’s a glass rectangular vessel, with 24 small holes in the top, ideal for single blooms. Daisies, roses, orchids or hydrangeas, as you see above, would all work beautifully! You can see the tutorial for this in my Instagram stories today.
Onto the settings… I’ve mixed old and new pieces here, along with some new items that look old! The silverware and bread & butter plates are vintage, while the white appetizer plates are new. The napkins are from Anthropologie, and blend right in with the antiques. I love the mix of patterns here – nothing too matchy, but all in spring pastels, so they play well together.
Finally, the glassware. Spring is the perfect time to use your colored glasses. Pink depression glass, green wine goblets – you could even mix and match. I love how these amber water and wine glasses pick up the gold touches in the plates and napkins.
We are all homebound, but I’m still wishing you some wonderful celebrations this season! Whether they are big or small, casual or fancy, there’s always a reason to cook, eat and drink champagne. Cheers to you and yours! Hope everyone is safe and healthy.
