And just like that… Only one week until Christmas Eve.

Before we talk table details, does anyone else catch themselves saying that all the time?! I (as SJP) was narrating …

      Lazy Weekend Brunch

      • December 6, 2022

To me, there are moments for fancy, and moments for unfussy. Brunch is most definitely one of the latter, especially when hosting at home. So save your crisply ironed tablecloth …

        Fall, but Make it Neutral

        • December 5, 2022

So I finally caved on the pumpkin display. I also broke out a cinnamon scented candle and spent a little too much time shopping for sweater dresses. I might make …

          A Summer Spread

          • December 3, 2022

Welcome to August. Can you believe it? Somehow we’re approaching the end of the summer, and we haven’t shared nearly enough together.

This particular summer has been… busy. Kicking it …

            • April 5, 2022

A simple setting, featuring the colors of the season, just in time for holiday hosting. Think bright pinks and subtle greens— a happy combination on any table. Pro tip: remove …

              • March 8, 2022

While we are still a few days away from the official start of the season, I haven’t been able to resist the urge to bring spring into the house. Tulips, …

                A Tabletop Valentine

                • February 8, 2022

For as long as I can remember, I have stayed home on Valentine’s Day. Not necessarily because I was single (though there were plenty of those nights too), but because …

                  Staying Cozy

                  • January 18, 2022

There are many things I told myself (and my mother) I would never wear— hoodies, Ugg boots, the color pink and pretty much anything from The North Face, to name …

                    Thanksgiving in Burgundy

                    • November 24, 2021

This week’s edition of Tablescape Tuesday is brought to you on Wednesday by insane drivers, a last minute oven disaster and general grocery store mayhem.

The holidays are officially here! …

I think we all know I have a Homegoods problem. If you don’t know, you might have guessed, and you would be right— you’ll find proof all over Instagram. It …

                        Shades of Gray

                        • September 16, 2021

Welcome to post-Labor-Day summer, that awkward period in New England when some people break out their boots and sweaters, while others cling to their flip flops for dear life. There's that old rule about not wearing white anymore (that I gladly threw out in my early Miami years). Pumpkin Spice is available, but it's really still rosé weather. It's a weird time for all of us up here.

Personally, I feel the same awkwardness in the kitchen. Am I ready for butternut squash yet? (Honestly, never.) Could I eat a few more tomatoes? (Definitely, yes.) Earth-shattering dilemmas, I know. The same goes for the table, and when I have any doubts about how to set, I always go back to what I know: neutrals.

It’s official. We are one week from Thanksgiving. I don’t know about you, but on my end things are beginning to feel just a bit… rushed. I have a feeling …

                            • August 12, 2020

I will be the first to admit my addiction to fresh flowers (see here, here and here), but I LOVE me a produce-based centerpiece. Yes, I’m talking apples, …

If there was ever a time for mismatching, summer is it. In a season that celebrates leisure and simplicity, let your table settings do the same. This is the moment …
